Tools Essay

A multi-tool pocket knife is a tool that has many uses. This particular tool is a good thing to have with you just in case. I think the three main parts or uses for the tool are the pliers, knife and the screwdriver. This is so much easier than having to carry around all three of those different tools.

The screwdriver part can be used for whatever it is that needs to be done with a screw, whether it’s loosening or tightening. Pliers and the knife on the other hand can be used for multiple things. I personally would use the pliers when I went fishing. To get the hook uncaught from the mouth of the fish. But we all are different and would use pliers for something different. The knife can basically be used whenever. Opening boxes, cutting whatever needs to be cut. The use of the knife could almost be endless.

The upside to having a pocket knife is that it is small. It has all these little tools that are very handy that is compacted into something small enough to fit in your pocket. Which means you can carry it anywhere (well almost anywhere) as a just in caser, instead of carrying around a whole toolbox or something with a variety of tools. Also there are different types of pocket knives that do different things or have different tools in them.

A downside to just carrying a pocket knife with you is that it might not be as effective as the real tool. With the tool being smaller it might be a bit harder to use. There is always that possibility of breaking that tool right off from the base of the pocket knife just because it is so small and might not be able to withstand what the actual size tool does.

All in all entire multi-tool pocket knife is a good thing to have with you and use. As long as it’s not a big project that needs heavy duty usage of the tool it should be good to use. But they usually do more than just cut because of the other tools that are contained in them. A handy little tool that everyone should have.

  1. I don't see any contrast here. Are you contrasting the knife to actually carrying all the tools? If that's where you want to go, you have to make clear what the three differences are.

But that's just a guess on my part about where you wanted to take this.

    So, this needs a rewrite.
