Example Essay

My sister and I always deny that we are not alike. Whether it's looks, how we act or anything like that. Everyone always says that we look alike and act so much alike but we deny it. I can say that attitude wise I am not as bad as my sister but we are alike way more than we think. A couple of examples are our looks, how we act, and our personalities.

Of course we look alike we are sisters, but I have seen some families where the siblings look nothing alike. We used to deny looking alike for the longest time. But there is no more denying it. We both have the same skin tone and we tan up easily. Brown hair and brown eye, the only difference is I have my hair permed and its long and Katie (my sister) has highlights and short hair.

Another example that Katie and I are alike is how we act. Serious but yet a little immature. Just depends on the situation that we are in. We just know how to still have fun but still be able to get things done. Although when we are together we may seem a little bit too foolish but that is just because we like to have fun. We like to joke around, and it gets worse as we get tired because then everything is just funny to us, so then we can’t stop laughing.

Now our personalities are another thing that makes us alike. We are outgoing and can be nice. But when we have something to say we will say it. We don’t care about what people think unless they mean something to us. And sometimes we can be impatient and get angry at stupid things.

These three things are only a few examples of how we are alike. There are a lot more but they are little details. If it weren’t for the age difference, and the little bit of differences in our looks we could be the same person.

  1. This is a contrast essay much more than an example essay.

Any essay you write should have examples, but in an example essays you focus on three examples of your sister getting angry or three examples of times you got the giggles or something along those lines.

    Give it a rewrite.
